I received a free copy of the book from the author for my honest opinion.I have read several books by author Aubrie Dionne in more than one genre and loved them all. So when I saw that Love on Loch Ness was written by Aubrie Dionne that is all I needed to say yes to reading and reviewing. Aubrie Dionne is one of the best authors around. She is definitely on my top list of authors. With Aubrie's books I don't need to read the summary I just know it will be good. Aubrie Dionne is an author that yo [...]

This book captured me and made me want to read it from the title "Love on Loch Ness" as I love anything to do with the ol' legends of times gone by including the famous Scottish legend of the Loch Ness Monster known as Nessie. The other awesome thing was that the main female character had the same surname as me "Phillips". Love on Loch Ness tells the story of Marine Biologist Dr. Gail Phillips who has come to Scotland to prove that the Loch Ness Monster does not exist and is purely just that - a [...]

One way or another, Loch Ness is about to give up its secrets in Aubrie Dionne's Love on Loch Ness. The setting of Loch Ness and Scotland lends a mysterious atmosphere to this novel. As I reader, I could hear Nessie's call and feel the chill of the enigmatic lake. Flynn Maloney is swoon-worthy from his Scottish brogue to his childlike wonder and caring disposition. He definitely has his work cut out for him in order to win over Dr. Gail Phillips, a believer in all things logical and who has give [...]

I know that it’s not proper to start with the conclusion, but Aubrie Dionne has clearly won a fan. I’m not the type that chooses books only by their author. In fact, there are quite a few authors whose books I would read just because are written by them. Otherwise, a word, an idea a cover the mood can make me read a "new" book. But now, Aubrie Dionne is on my list of interest and I am very curious what she will bring next, especially since I'm sure she can offer much more. However, when I s [...]

I was so excited when I got the tour invite for Love on Loch Ness because I've read another one of Aubrie Dionne's books before and thought it was fantastic plus I absolutely love the legend of Nessie and thought a romance set in Loch Ness was too good to pass up. I thought that Love on Loch Ness was a nice lighthearted romance that had me laughing often. Gail had her issues, being a scientist and the daughter of a "quack" a.k.a. a cryptozoologist she had to reconcile her past and present and he [...]

I enjoy reading anything that has a paranormal thing to it, so when I was saw that this had to do with one of the most famous legends around I wanted to see what the author would do with it. I enjoyed how she brought the main characters into the story because you have one that wants to prove that everything has a scientific fact to it and there is no way is it true (mainly because of her past history), and then you have a fanatic who has studied his whole lives for those that are impossible espe [...]

The main story was the hunt for Nessie and it was quite interesting. The Scottish setting on the lake was romantic and I was excited each time Flynn and Gail found a clue that might lead to the truth. Although both characters were working on different sides of the belief in Nessie's existence, they still found themselves liking one another. It was a slow developing relationship, which was realistic and refreshing and it allowed the main focus of the story to be the search for this popular legend [...]

This story wasn't my normal read, but I really enjoyed it. The secrets behind Tom, Blarney and he thought on life and especially how Flynn and Gail were opposites and able to balance each other.Nessie has to be a favorite though with her mysterious powers.

3.5 starsI love that this book was set in Scotland and revolved around the Loch Ness Monster. It was a good change up from the regular romance and I really liked it. One of the main things I walked away with after reading this book is the reminder that believing in things, having a hope and chasing dreams is a good thing. Don't kill the joy. Flynn has that hope and believing nature. He believes in the Loch Ness Monster and he is trying desperately to find the proof to validate his belief. While G [...]

Hard facts are safe. That's what Dr. Gail Phillips believes as she arrives in Loch Ness. The myth of the monster is fake and she's determined to prove it. Yet it gets harder to disprove as she investigates the loch and its history. Even more so that she's immensely attracted to Flynn Maloney who has complete faith that the Loch Ness monster is real. Working together, their growing feelings begin to distract them from their work. Secrets are unearthed and there's something in the murky water, but [...]
